I've found the best tote bag
Drumroll, pretty please for my first post. We'll cover a quiet bag brand, my favorite bathroom luxury, a nod to TOVE my favorite brand of the moment, and love letter to Miami in the Summer.
Hello! Thanks for reading the first edition of Katherine’s List, where I’ll round up my favorite finds of the week and tidbits I’m dying to share. While I get my sartorial sea-legs, this may be a little all over the place for a few weeks to see what resonates with you all. If you like what you read, tell your friends!

This bag brand should be high on your list
I did some sleuthing after seeing Jennifer Lawrence carry one of these on Pinterest and man am I hooked. Naghedi NYC is making beautiful totes in discreet patterns and shapes, similar to Dragon Diffusion but in fabrics. I have to evaluate my fall clothes to figure out what color to get, but the St. Barths Large tote is the best clean tote I’ve seen in a long time. It looks like she has it in Ecru, but loving the Cashmere color as well.
Notable mention for the cosmetic case that’s a perfect match, as well as the hobo size as well. In my early twenties I used to get so anxious schlepping a big bag into a chic restaurant or bar, and I feel like the hobo is the answer here for a subtle, yet effective, big bag moment. I’ll update you when I settle on which to I get.

A bathrobe to end all bathrobes
It’s time to retire the fluffy monster sitting in your closet. I’m talking about the bathrobe you’ve had since 2010, or earlier.
This waffle robe is your answer to upgrading your bathroom routine to feel like a spa. The mini length makes it an easy throw on after the shower, and the short sleeves mean you won’t have soggy sleeves after washing your face. I own two and wash them with my towels, could not recommend more!
My little secret weapon
Hello my name is Katherine, and I’m addicted to Vogue Shopping. Some time last year, Vogue upped their affiliate link game and I think this is one of the best places to see what’s trending across the internet. While some pieces lean trendy, I’ve found it’s a great place to discover brands I should be paying attention to. They also do a phenomenal job styling clothes in a way you can replicate in your own closet, without having to buy all new pieces. When I’m stumped for inspiration I often go to see how they style basics.
I have a crush on TOVE
À la , the 3 words to describe my style (and frankly a bit aspirational) are elegant, structured, and interesting. As I look to minimize my wardrobe with age, I rarely buy new pieces and when they do they have to be staples that I can incorporate across seasons.
After seeing TOVE online for a few seasons, I was pleased when I found them in-store at Neiman Marcus in Chicago last week. If you’re an online shopper, seeing an admired brand in-person can feel like a celebrity spotting (anyone else? just me?). I couldn’t believe my luck in the sale rack finding this insane elongated peplum halter, which fits my 3 words perfectly. Runs a little small as I took a 38 FR and I’m usually a 36.
Definitely look up “TOVE sale” and see what you find, their shapes are incredible. Some of my favorite pieces I found on mega sale are below.

Mesh bags are coming in hot
I’ll be honest with you, I’m not sold on this from a cost effective standpoint. I will say that I think we’re about to see more mesh bags this fall after the mesh shoe wave of Q2 ‘24, and Reformation’s take on this looks pretty darn cute. The Alaïa one at $1,200 is peak psychosis but I must be alone on that as it’s already sold out.
Miami is misunderstood in the summer
Miami in the summer gets a bad rap, but let’s face it, it’s just as hot in NYC now so you may as well be on the beach and drink a piña colada. While you can’t predict hurricanes, if your trip lines up with good weather you’re in for a treat. This past weekend was picture-perfect, albeit so enjoyable that I took very few photos. We stayed at The Faena and soaked in all of the tiger-print glory, split truffle & lobster pastas at dōma (the best service in Miami), ordered most of the menu at Mandolin, and danced under a disco ball at The Sylvester. In other words: copy, paste.
